In September of 2000, Bob Dean, a recently retired pilot, decided to investigate the “afterlife” phenomenon with an open mind. His research took several directions. I have read many books on this subject and, in my opinion, Bob's is one of the best. It is written with humor, depth, understanding and wisdom. It isn't so "scientific" that someone who is just beginning their journey would be perplexed, but it is just human and believable enough to make you want more -- much more.
